Description

Trident Mains Battery Charger Features

  •  It has AC to DC isolation, a surge protector, automatic multistage charging and many other safety features.
  • Automatic Multi-stage Charging Curve—The Trident battery charger has an automatic max. Six-step charging curve that delivers nominal current for approximately 75% of the charging cycle. It ensures complete, fast, and safe battery charging.
  • The Built-in Timer will switch from absorption to floating stage according to either the current drop to the nominal level or the timer set value.
  • Dip Switches - Dip switches allow you to choose charge mode and battery type and support R/C or R/D.
  • Recycle Charging is designed to be permanently connected to the battery. After 14 days, it will automatically switch to recycle charging to eliminate possible sulphation in case of long-term floating.
  • Simultaneous Multi-battery Bank Charging - multi separate DC positive terminals (12A has two banks, 20A, 25A & 40A have three banks) allow charging multiple batteries simultaneously. The total current in the batteries is a maximum of 12A, 20A, 25A or 40A, depending on the model, divided amongst the batteries according to their discharge state. (NOTE: the multi outputs are not independently voltage regulated, so it is important to avoid systems with mixed types of batteries)
  • Isolated Design—The output banks have an electronically designed isolation circuit. This circuit prevents the current flow between banks and the flow backwards from the battery-to-battery charger.
